Hello everyone, welcome back to The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Relaxing Playthrough. In this episode, Shani hosts a party, and Geralt supplies the drinks.



Important Note: The party scene makes the camera visibly distorted to simulate the effects of Geralt's drunkenness and it may cause some motion sickness. It made me not feel so good when playing so if you are worried, feel free to skip it, or just listen to the dialogue. I will summarize the scene at the end of the description.



Quest Note: To progress the main quest, Geralt is supposed to eliminate Ramsmeat for Raymond. I know this is not the right thing to do since it does not make any sense. Turns out, the autopsy report drew incorrect conclusions which led Geralt down that certain questline. The only way to correct the quest was to prove Thaler's innocence after attending Shani's party. We need Thaler's innocence to progress the main quest which will be seen in the next episode.

Spoilers:
During the party, Geralt mostly gets bombarded with exposition about his past, with a little bit of character development. His old friend Dandelion is there and recalls the details of his death. The critical information is acquired after the party when Geralt gives Shani some roses as a gift and she reveals her history with Thaler. She reveals that Thaler has been running operations against Salamandra, so that proves he is not working with them.
