INGREDIENTS
To Activate Yeast:
1/2 Cup Warm Water
1 & 1/2 Tsp Sugar
1 & 1/2 Tsp Active Dry Yeast

Sugar Syrup:
1/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence

Dough:
2 Cup (240 gm) All Purpose Flour/Maida
1 Tbsp Milk Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Tutti Frutti
2 Tsp Oil

For Brushing:
1 Egg
1 Tsp Milk

Serving:
Butter

METHOD
Mix warm water with sugar until sugar gets dissolved. Add active drive yeast and mix well. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
⁠Mix powdered sugar with 1/4 cup water and vanilla essence until sugar is dissolved.
⁠Mix all purpose flour, milk powder, salt and mix well. Add yeast mixture, sugar and water mixture and make a dough. Knead this dough for 10-15 minutes. If using electric beater with dough hook attachment or stand mixer, knead the dough for 5-7 minutes.
⁠Add some oil and spread over the dough so that it doesn’t stick to the bowl. Cover and proof till it doubles in size.
⁠After proofing, deflate the dough and divide into 4 equal portions.
⁠Shape into balls and set on a baking tray. Let these proof for 30 minutes.
⁠Prepare a mixture of egg yolk and milk. Apply this over the buns after 30 minutes of proofing.
⁠Preheat OTG at 180°C for 10 minutes and bake the buns for 25 minutes.
⁠Take out the buns and place them on a wire rack and let them cool down.
⁠Slice and apply soft butter. Serve with a cup of hot tea and enjoy!
