The recently released Redmi Note 4 from Xiaomi is a quality well built phone , but corners have to cut to be able to sell the phone at an appealing price to the public.
Is the camera a casualty of cost cutting ?.
Out of the box and trying the camera for the first time .... I would have to answer , it certainly seem this way.
The camera is fuzzy out of all but the brightest of environments and whilst in video mode and indoors under challenging lighting the results appear to be recorded in a horrendous 6 fps or so. Totally useless.
But! , that is out of the box with the MIUI8 update waiting and installed.
Since then the phone has received waves of updates and is currently sitting at MIUI 8.0.11.0. What a difference some software tweeking can make.
I'm happy to be able to say , now the Redmi Note 4 camera is worthy of the rest of the stellar build quality of this phone.
