Deadpool & Wolverine - Review for the Ending!

Описание к видео Deadpool & Wolverine - Review for the Ending!

Deadpool & Wolverine combines Deadpool's chaotic humor with Wolverine's intensity, creating a unique film that links Fox's X-Men universe with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie is both a satire and a celebration of Hollywood's penchant for reboots, sequels, and nostalgia, offering plenty of fan service while also poking fun at it.

Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine reinforces his iconic portrayal of the character. Even in a comedic Deadpool film, Jackman's presence brings depth and gravitas, showcasing why replacing him would be a challenge for Marvel.

The film kicks off with a bold scene where Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, uses Wolverine's adamantium-laced bones as weapons against a group of Time Variance Authority (TVA) agents. The TVA, introduced in the Loki TV series, is a bureaucratic organization responsible for maintaining order across the multiverse by eliminating timelines deemed problematic, a process known as "pruning."

In Loki, the titular character uncovers the TVA's complex and authoritarian nature. By the end of the series, Loki sacrifices himself to transform the multiverse into the World Tree from Norse mythology, ascending to become the God of Stories. This new role allows Loki to oversee and protect the ever-expanding strands of the multiverse. Meanwhile, the TVA is reformed into a more benevolent organization that no longer prunes timelines.

However, in Deadpool & Wolverine, Deadpool's universe catches the eye of a rogue TVA agent named Mr. Paradox, played by Matthew Macfadyen. Paradox is intent on reverting to the TVA’s former ways and quickly erasing the X-Men universe. He wields a device called the Time Ripper to destroy old universes, while another character, Cassandra, seeks to use it to annihilate every branch of the multiverse and rule over the Void.

As Deadpool and Wolverine battle various versions of Deadpool across the multiverse and make their way into the TVA, they learn that to stop the Time Ripper, someone must sacrifice themselves by acting as a bridge between matter and antimatter, which would trigger a reaction that destroys the device. Wolverine wants to sacrifice himself to atone for his past failures, while Deadpool sees it as an opportunity to redeem himself after his selfish actions led to his rejection from the Avengers. In the end, they decide to sacrifice themselves together, and their combined regenerative powers allow both to survive, ensuring Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine can continue to appear in future movies.

At the end of the film, Deadpool remains in his original X-Men universe alongside Wolverine, X-23 (played by Dafne Keen), and his friends. X-23, who hails from the future of that timeline, chooses to stay in Deadpool's present.

The post-credits scene jokes about Chris Evans’ Human Torch deserving to die but also suggests that Deadpool might enter the MCU in the future. Deadpool still possesses a TempPad, which could allow him to cross over in a later film, such as Secret Wars.

The identity of the "Anchor Being" in the MCU has not been revealed yet, but it’s expected to play a role in upcoming Avengers movies. There are rumors of a scene where Thor grieves over a dying Deadpool, which could appear in Secret Wars. Hugh Jackman is unlikely to be replaced as Wolverine anytime soon, with Deadpool even joking that Jackman will be playing Wolverine long past his prime. In future Marvel films, such as Avengers: Doomsday, Deadpool might confront Robert Downey Jr.’s version of Doctor Doom, potentially making a joke about Marvel’s tendency to reuse their most famous actors.
