Zionism is not about creating an impossible situation for the Palestinians, Zionism is about a Jewish state."

STORYLINE
Israeli activists from the leftist movement "Peace now" demonstrated on Thursday in Hebron against the Israeli settlement in the town.
Hebron, a city holy to Jews and Muslims, is home to about 160,000 Palestinians and some 500 Jewish ultra-nationalist settlers who live in heavily fortified enclaves.
The activists claimed that settlers' aggressions toward the Palestinians and their attacks on their property had become a day to day norm.
"Those Israelis who live in Hebron - those five hundreds Israelis - and who are creating an intolerable situation for the more than 16-thousands Palestinians who are living in H2 (the part of town under Israeli control) are not representing the real Israelis, the real Zionists," said Yossi Beilin, a Knesset member, and leader of left-wing Meretz-Yahad Party.
The activists called on the government to dismantle the Jewish settlement.
On the other side of the road, some Jewish settlers gathered to protest against the leftist activists.
Israeli soldiers prevented the two groups from confronting each other and kept both demonstrations away from the Palestinian part of the town.
