A force that pulls a body approaching the centroid of the earth or indeed any physical body with mass is called gravity.

The effect of gravity on fluid pressure

Pressure within such a liquid is solely determined by the density of the liquid, gravity's acceleration, as well as the depths of the liquid. Such as increasing depth, this same pressure exerted by such a stationary liquid grows linearly.

Gravity affects fluid pressure by causing the fluid body just to flow throughout the direction or orientations of its own net acceleration.
It also depicts the fluctuation of fluid pressure along depths.
Therefore, gravity is more than merely the pull of things to the Earth. It is indeed a universal attraction that occurs among all objects throughout the cosmos.
