CAMP AT 3178m ALTITUDE : MOUNT THABOR IN AUTUMN / FRENCH ALPS 🇫🇷

I had never slept at over 3000 meters of altitude, so I decided to give it a try—under the stars, no less. But in November, the days are very short, so I had to pick up the pace to share my hike.

Day 1: 1400m ascent over 12km
Day 2: 1400m descent / 950m ascent over 22km

Hike completed on November 3rd and 4th, 2024. The weather during this time was exceptional; there’s usually far more snow at this altitude.
