Gate (Gone): Relates to the journey, the going forth from suffering.

Pāragate (Gone Beyond): Going to the other shore (Nirvana).

Pārasamgate (Gone Altogether Beyond): Fully beyond.

Bodhi (Awakening/Enlightenment): The realization of this truth.

Svāhā (Hail/So Be It): An exclamation of affirmation or blessing.
