The unheard melodies of a creative Sindhu-bhairavi

Описание к видео The unheard melodies of a creative Sindhu-bhairavi

I read somewhere “Music expresses the harmony of the universe” and if harmony expresses itself through the music, I wonder what that then be called?

Here is one such example of harmony expressed through intuitiveness and soulful music of two maestros: Pandit Hariprasad Chauasia and Dr. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna.

This particular piece is an excerpt from a live concert running in to about 4 hours and it is a journey of nonstop enlightenment through the mellifluous voice and melodious flute.

What might one notice is the mastery of both vocalist and flautist in building many facets of sindhu-bhairavi, taking cue from each other. It is also fascinating to witness the eagerness of both artistes in stretching the degree of complementariness and their skills in bringing out the heard and unheard colours and hues of sindhu-bhairavi. The maestros explore to find many forms of this rAgAnga rAgAs leveraging their complementariness together with the unrehearsed anticipation displayed by the accompanying artistes.

Please take your time to listen and do share your reflections and your own cherished moments of joy in listening to this rare rendition.
