Our ex-batt hens (aka commercial egg layers) - Lorelei, J, and Hadassah - have finally felt the sun on their backs, and the ground under their feet!

Note: the spots covering their chests, combs, and beaks are not mites, lice, fleas, or any other parasite...the girls had chia seeds for breakfast, and they're wearing a few for snacks later!
