It's officially been 10 year since I first made Rise of the Lunar Republic out of a DeviantArt chatroom. It was #Bronies incase you were curious and know about the dA chatrooms. I joined the fandom, made a channel called Featherfall Studios (although at the time it was Project Phoenix Productions) and the rest is history.

I wanted to make a song to celebrate 10 years of making content and... well this was the biggest pain in my butt. I hate this song with a passion and I only uploaded it out of obligation to my 15 year old self. Everyone I have talked to about this song has said it's their favorite of mine but personally if I never touch this song again or have to hear it then i'll be happy.

I should probably talk about Rise though because it was a cool idea in my head. Back in late 2012 I was doing theory crafting and wondered what Luna turning into Nightmare Moon would've been like. We got an answer about a year and a half later but before that I figured it was a WAR!

When I found art of "The New Lunar Republic" a story of MODERN Luna having an army I figured there was a spot for a story about the ORIGINAL Lunar republic. So I wrote one with a couple friends CatLuvr2 and Naihtasu.

It followed a young Princess Luna trapped with a cursed entity inside of her that unalived her mother during birth. She was seen as a black sheep or a cursed creature of evil. A teenage Celestia who was forced to take over in the mean time was stressed and unsure how to run a country. This was only made worse by rebels who though Celestia a tyrant.

Eventually the story would've covered the creation of the Elements of Harmony (Pre-Tree of Harmony), the birth of Discord (Pre-Discord's return) and Luna taking down her sister only for the beast inside her to corrupt her mind and take her over forming Nightmare Moon for the first time.

It was cringy but it was mine.

Oh well, projects sometimes never get finished. Not this time though. So...
