Have you ever had your cholesterol checked and it came back normal? You pass with flying colors. Well, there's some new advanced testing that I want to show you.
This new testing is called NMR Lipid Profile. And what it checks is the bad cholesterol, the LDL, bad guy. This is checking to see how many small little droplets of LDL particles you actually have.
Now, this is the most advanced testing right now. Now, let me show you this client right here so you can see the two red arrows.
You see the LDL right there, and it says LDL for particle number. So his is 2713. Now, if you look right over there to the right, we want to have this less than 100. So he's actually pinned the needle. If you look all the way over to the right here, it says greater than 200 is very, very high.
Now, why is this so significant? Because what we're actually measuring is how many small droplets of LDL particles you have. The more numbers you have, the more risk you are for cardiovascular disease.
This is why 50% of all people that have heart attacks have normal cholesterol levels, because total cholesterol is an absolute joke. What we need to look for is the underlying cause of that and look at the specific LDL particle size And the particle number, which you can see here is this 2713.
