The story of Jesus Christ begins with a divine promise and unfolds as God’s greatest gift to humanity. God sent the angel Gabriel to a humble young woman named Mary, announcing that she would conceive by the Holy Spirit and give birth to the Savior of the world. Though unexpected, Mary accepted God’s will in faith.
Because of a decree from the ruling authorities, Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born in a manger, for there was no room for them. God announced His Son’s birth through angels and a guiding star, leading shepherds and wise men to worship the newborn King—while others responded with fear.
Jesus grew up in Nazareth, living in obedience and wisdom. At the appointed time, He was baptized by John the Baptist, and God affirmed Him as His beloved Son. Led by the Spirit, Jesus fasted in the wilderness and overcame temptation. He then began His ministry—preaching the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, forgiving sinners, and performing miracles that revealed God’s power and compassion.
Though He did no wrong, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, mocked, and crucified on a cross. He gave His life willingly for the sins of the world. His death fulfilled God’s plan of salvation. On the third day, the grave could not hold Him. Jesus rose from the dead, victorious over sin and death, offering eternal life to all who believe.
This is the story of love, redemption, and hope—the story that changed the world forever.
