-- ENG -- In September 2025, the German power metal supergroup PRIMAL FEAR, hailing from Esslingen and formed in 1997 by Ralf Scheepers (vocals, ex-TYRAN'PACE and ex-GAMMA RAY), Mat Sinner (bass and vocals, SINNER), Stefan Leibing, and Tom Naumann (guitar), made a remarkable comeback with a superb fifteenth album, a powerful and classic work titled Domination (‪@ReigningPhoenixMusicOfficial‬) which notably sees the arrival on one of the guitars of the Italian-Cuban sensation Thalìa Bellazecca (Angus Mcsix, Ex-Frozen Crown) aged 24. But here's the thing: two years after Code Red (not to be confused with the SODOM album of the same name), PRIMAL FEAR almost lost their bassist due to a reaction to a COVID-19 vaccine. So we think this fifteenth studio album could almost have been called Determination instead of Domination. But let's hear from this survivor, with whom we have the opportunity to speak... -- FR -- En septembre 2025, le supergroupe de power metal allemand PRIMAL FEAR, originaire d'Esslingen et formé en 1997 par Ralf Scheepers (chant, ex-Tyran'Pace et ex-Gamma Ray), Mat Sinner (basse et chant, Sinner), Stefan Leibing et Tom Naumann (guitare), a fait un retour remarquable avec un quinzième album superbe, une œuvre puissante et classique intitulée Domination ( ‪@ReigningPhoenixMusicOfficial‬) qui voit notamment l'arrivée à l'une des guitares de la sensation italo-cubaine Thalìa Bellazecca (Angus Mcsix, Ex-Frozen Crown) âgée de 24 ans. Mais voilà, deux ans après Code Red (à ne pas confondre avec l'album du même nom de SODOM), PRIMAL FEAR a bien failli perdre entre-temps son bassiste à cause d'une réaction à un vaccin au covid-19. Alors on se dit que ce quinzième album studio aurait presque pu s'appeler finalement Determination plutôt que Domination. Mais laissons la parole à ce survivant avec lequel nous avons l'opportunité de nous entretenir... Un grand merci à Mat pour son temps et sa sincérité. Prends soin de toi, chef !
