ngl i was only watching this drama for these two characters. this is the only time i literally liked the 'villains' more than the main characters lmao
but man what interesting characters dude. especially hanseo...i've had a week to process his dead and i'm still in mourning ngl i didn't really add his death in here bc it still makes me way too sad lmao

he grew SO much on me throughout the drama and he outshone everyone else imo. the way kwak dongyeon portrayed his character and developement is nothing short of masterful. even when he was being a brat in those first few eps, i couldn't dislike him. and then him growing into such an amazing and multi-layered character that turned into an instant fan favorite? major props, honestly.

but let's be real, han seo is literally the definition of 'deserved better'. i suppose that if he had to die, i like that he did so doing something good, i just don't like the was it was executed at all (vincenzo just sitting there doing absolutely nothing while he was fighting for his life??)
i guess we should've known he would when he said that he had vincenzo to protect him in ep 19. that was some foreshadowing right there lol


and you know me, we can't talk about a drama without discussing the psychopath. i really can't help but wonder if part of han seok didn't actually want to kill his brother? after fuming in that jail cell for so long it really did seem like han seok was absolutely set on murdering him in his office, but then hesitated and just ended up knocking him out and impulsively taking him over to his house. and even after that he kept giving him chances as well, aiming for the arm when han seo attacked him at first (also seemingly not shooting him before accidentally shooting chaeyoung?) and even after that, telling him to let go of the gun when they were struggling with it. until eventually han seo sealed his own faith by telling him he shouldn't have been born and pushing him over the edge. i really wonder if he wouldn't have shot if han seo hadn't said what he said?
