This is a short guide for catching the Prime Adjudicator, a big fish in Urqopache added in FFXIV patch 7.3: Promises of Tomorrow.

Location: Urqopacha
Hole: Karvarhur the First
Bait: Red Maggot
Conditions: 12-16, during Fog after Fair Skies
Folklore Book: Yok Tural
Min Gathering: 4,450 Min Gathering

📋Window Prep
Arrive a bit early to window and cast out with Red Maggot. Reel in any !! bites you get until you catch a Morsel Trout. Once you do, use Surface Slap, Chum, then wait until 12:01 to cast back out.

You can speed up getting a Morsel Trout by using Ambitious Lure up to 3 times. If you get a Deepwarden, you can use Surface Slap, then cast back out and use Ambitious Lure up to 3 times again. The next !! bite you get will be a Morsel Trout.

🧑‍⚖️Catching Prime Adjudicator
Cast out at 12:01 and immediately use Ambitious Lure up to 3 times or until you see the message “You have a feeling you’ve attracted a fish with a strong bite!” If you get a ! or !! bite, use Rest, Chum, and cast back out. If you get a !!! bite, use Hook to attempt to reel in Prime Adjudicator.

There is evidence to support that Prime Adjudicator has a relatively high slip rate, so if it takes a handful bites to catch - know that is the current average experience.
