What is THIS?! They had a lot going on here, like the morality of dying for the sake of not letting go. But they didn't want to delve into the shady morality properly:

Because it's done with consent, is it okay for the people in the Seance Society to keep the puppets if they know it is killing them? Who are we to make these decisions for them? Also, why did the puppets cause overclock? Never explained

Why did they say the Patrollers are evil? Had Jinzhou failed them? Did the Patrollers' deaths are treated like plastic puppets in the eyes of Jinzhou?

How did Yinlin suddenly have the resolve to oppose the Puppetmaker? Just because she has a clear conscience?

There are SO MANY missed opportunities here. My god, it's painful and boring to read.

Also, "HAH! I hacked the Jinzhou Patroller database so nobody will know you are the undercover agent!". Are you stupid? Did Yinlin never meet ANYONE else from the Patrollers? Was she trained in a dark room with video tapes? Of course, the Patrollers would still recognize her and put her name back in. Holy crap... The ONLY explanation is that the Puppetmaker is overclocked and get his IQ reduced somehow...
