Welcome to a new series of mine where I will be trying out something new. This series will be me playing a modded game of Stellaris. There are a lot of mods present in this series but the main one I will be trying out is AlphaMod. Or, to be more precise, the 2.2.6 Beta of AlphaMod.

I have played with AlphaMod before but that was around the time of 1.8 so there will be many many changes I am unfamiliar with. This is, in many ways, a whole new game experience.

Not only is AlphaMod a massive overhaul that reworks so much of the core game it might as well be a brand new game but this is in Beta meaning there will be bugs, unfinished values, placeholder art and so on. I am also playing with several dozen other mods which may cause their own problems. Just bear in mind that there may be issues with my game during this series.

I have the relevant patches that are available but you should still go into this expecting things to go wrong and/or be extremely bugged at some point.

Also, I do not guarantee that I will finish this playthrough. If I enjoy it enough and there aren’t any updates to the game or mods that break it during said playthrough then I will probably keep on going as long as I can but you should expect it to end prematurely or after I’ve shown off as much of the mod as I decide I want to.

Unlike my usual series on this channel, there will not be a roleplay element to this. I will read most of the text and events but not all of it. The purpose of this series is to showcase AlphaMod (and I guess also my 20 gazillion other mods too) not create a narrative.
