Joshua Jones, managing director of Queensland Festivals and Events, said the recent Legends on the Lawn festival would have “gone elsewhere” without the support provided by council.

Did you know that since 2015 council has invested more than $8 million to bring 239 events and 55 conferences to our region?

Because of this Invest Mackay Events and Conference Attraction Program, 200,000 overnight visitors have come to our region and injected more than $200 million into our economy.
