Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the Redarc 12 Volt 200 Amp Smart Start Battery Isolator. This battery isolator will protect a start battery from auxiliary drain in multiple battery setups. It'll transfer the charge from your start battery to your auxiliary battery once your start battery gains charge from your alternator. The isolator function will stop the power transfer from the charging battery if its voltage drops too low, which will help prevent excessive discharge in a dead battery.The blue wire right here is an override wire. This will allow for emergency starts and simple fault detection. Basically, you can attach this to a switch, which we sell separately, to manually reverse the charge and jump-start a dead start battery or you can also connect it to an LED that can be mounted in your cab for easy viewing of the diagnostics.It does have silver contact points here to ensure long life and corrosion resistance.

It does use a durable housing over here to protect your sensitive electronics and it is a compact design. It allows for versatile installation. Basically, the overall dimensions on this is about four inches long by about three inches wide and about three and half inches tall. This will allow you to mount the isolator in a convenient location near the start battery.Now, we do also have four gauge cables, fuses, and connectors that we sell separately for this installation.This part is made in Australia.An application on this, gain, it's for vehicles with standard or temperature compensating alternators. Maximum continuous current is 200 amps.
