YAMAHA TX7 - Inside the module and replacing the LCD display

inside the Yamaha TX7 FM module

I look at the inside the unit and installing a replacement 16x1 backlit LCD display. Final job has wires neatly tie wrapped and insulated with shrink wrap.
Backup battery seemed fine, but swapped it out anyway as a precaution.

I used some autosol metal polish to clean up the LCD display cover and case.

-DX7 COMBO MODE The TX7 is basically a polyphony expander for DX7 and many functions are accessible only using the original keyboard. The performance mode team-up with the dx7 and a special set of sounds is provided for both TX7 / DX7.
