Purulia the easternmost district of West Bengal and extended in the eastern part of chotonagpur plateau, which also has some dissected hills of Eastern ghat range. Highest peak of South Bengal Chemtaburu is Located in this district in Ajodhya hill circle. Primarily this district is the driest part of WB but it is full of Natural beauty and less hyman interfere. This district is beautiful with its own waterfalls, lush green forest, Tribal culture, Many ranges hill peaks, Chau dance, Red soil, those have made this district one of the attractive tourist Destination
