How to control the brightness of LED using Potentiometer| LED Dimmer Circuit on a breadboard

Описание к видео How to control the brightness of LED using Potentiometer| LED Dimmer Circuit on a breadboard

Watch this video to learn how to adjust the brightness of an L.E.D on a breadboard in the most simplest way!

The electronic components you are going to require are listed below👇

COMPONENTS
REQUIRED:- 1k Potentiometer
470 Ohm Resistor
Breadboard
L.E.D
9v Battery with Battery Clip.

Follow the steps in the video!
The potentiometer consists of 3 pins! Make sure you connect a 470 ohm resistor or (any resistor close to this range) to the middle (centre pin) pin of the potentiometer to avoid the L.E.D from burning out!
Then connect the L.E.D in series to this circuit.

Now,
Connect the battery and with the help of a screwdriver adjust the potentiometer to increase or decrease the resistance of the potentiometer.

If you increase the resistance of the potentiometer then the L.E.D will be dimly lit.
If you decrease the resistance of the potentiometer then the L.E.D will be brightly lit.

Hence, you can adjust the brightness of an L.E.D by adjusting the potentiometer!
