Additional content for Resident Evil Village is just around the corner, with the Winters' Expansion DLC set for release on Friday, October 28 alongside Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, a bundle that includes both the base game and all the new DLC.

The Winters' Expansion DLC includes a brand-new third-person mode, which lets you play the main story from an over-the-shoulder perspective like the recent Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes, instead of the usual first-person perspective of Village.

Also included in the new DLC is the Shadows of Rose scenario, where you play as Ethan's daughter, who we saw in Village and is now playable for the first time in a continuation of the story.

New playable characters and maps are coming in The Mercenaries Additional Orders mode too, including Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and the fan-favourite towering vampire Lady Dimitrescu.
