Thunder struck the Khuman Lampak stadium in Imphal. Not literally, but in the form of AC/DC cover band 'Pulse Pundit' who enthralled fans gathered for the India vs Kyrgyzstan international tie. Interestingly, the band is known not only for covering the Aussie band's music, but also for mimicking their unique fashion sense.

A festive astmosphere prevailed in the stadium that was packed to the rafters, as fans were also seen doing the 'Mexican wave.' Also could be seen in the stands was Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, who began his career as a footballer himself. A tribute to Indian sootballing great Tulsidas Balaram was also espied in the stands.

India dominated the encounter and when Indian skipper Sunil Chhetri slotted in the second goal for the home team, it was absolute pandemonium in the stands as fans roared their approval.

For the second time in the month, a near capacity crowd turned up to enjoy international football at the Imphal stadium.

The first match of the Tri Match Series between India and Myanmar on March drew an estimated 30,000 fans to the stadium.
