Why is slapback delay so important to John Mayer tone? The use of the Way Huge Aqua Puss, and in some cases the MXR Carbon Cooy have been main stays for John Mayer for much of his career. In this video I discuss why I believe it’s the key to his tone and provide some clear examples of when he uses it.
