On Word, Spirit & Prayers, we shall be dwelling on "Meditation."
God commanded us to meditate on His Word (Joshua 1:9). In a simple term: the food we eat have to undergo the process of digestion and absorption for our bodies to make use of the nutrients contained in it. Without the digestion and absorption of the nutrients, the food we eat cannot be of any benefit to our body. Similarly in order for the Word of God we read and study to be of benefit to our soul and spirit, we have to digest and absorb them into our spirits and this can only be achieved through meditation.
