The vagus nerve is one of the longest nerves in your body, running from your brainstem down to your abdomen. It's a key player in the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps regulate your body's rest-and-digest functions. Activating this nerve can reduce stress, lower heart rate, and improve digestion.
