Located in the northern part of the Retezat Lolaia Falls is one of the most beautiful sites in Retezat. It is accessible from the Ohaba-Pietrele route - by car to Cârnic - marked with blue band. The Lolaia Falls are at 1050 m altitude, in the Nucsoara valley, which collected the streams of the brooks: Pietrele, Valea Rea, Stânișoara and Galeșu. The high level difference creates a very wild dream world, especially on the Pietrele brook, giving rise to a multitude of small waterfalls culminating in the Lolaia Falls. Access to the cascade was arranged with stairs and wooden railings. The height of the waterfall is about 13-15 m.
