Four years ago, I planted my avocado tree, but figuring out when to pick ripe fruit was a challenge. After plenty of taste tests, I think I’ve finally got it down! ✅ I wait until the avocados turn purple or nearly purple—but not too long, or they’ll fall, and the local wildlife will beat me to them! (Not sure which animals love avocados, but I keep finding pits all over my garden! 🧐)
