Tommy Johnson feat. Nanje Nowack - Burn The Sun (Original Mix)
Starting off, we clearly have one of Armin's favourites that was not only included in the ASOT 2014 CD, but also played on the radio show at least 3 times. The breakdown is pretty nice with that flute-y sounding instrument and of course the nice vocals

When I saw these two working together, I was expecting an amazing progressive tune, however, for me at least, I don't think it lives up to the expectation. Even though she doesn't sing in it, this certainly doesn't come anywhere close to Skyfire...

I'm not really sure whether I like this to be honest...usually the Adrian & Raz label always release top-quality songs...personally I'm not a massive fan, though maybe some of you will like it more than me.

The first of two Ellie Lawson songs in this mix. Which one do you prefer? For me, "For You" wins hands down!

I'm not sure what song some of the vocals remind me of, but all I know is that I really love it! If you've not already, make sure to check out the other sons on Protoculture's recent album!

What absolutely beautiful vocals...they're pretty much exactly how trance vocals should sound! Also, this is probably the best release from Stoneface & Terminal for a long time! All we really need is a nice uplifting remix!

Lange feat. Betsie Larkin - Insatiable (Sean Tyas Remix)
Now we're slowly upping the tempo, this time with this amazing Sean Tyas remix of a song with some of my favourite vocals and lyrics from last year. The piano is absolutely beautiful and make this possibly my favourite song so far

Feel feat. Jan Johnston - Illuminate (First Effect Remix)
After so long, it's great to see First Effect produce something more uplifting once again...the lead synth here is just such a classic sound!

Las Salinas feat. Sue McLaren - Break The Spell (Bryan Kearney Remix)
Without a doubt, Sue McLaren has to be one of the best vocalists in the trance scene, with hits including Mysteries Unfold, The Sun After Heartbreak and now of course this absolute bomb. In this remix Bryan Kearney adds the extra atmosphere and uplifting-ness that to me is missing in the original mix.

And now for some more really emotional vocals in another brilliant uplifting track.

Lange feat. Hysteria! - Unfamiliar Truth (John O'Callaghan Remix)
Like the Insatiable remix, this remix is also taken from Lange's "We Are Lucky People" remix album. Once again, it's an amazing remix, though this time higher tempo and more traditionally 'uplifting'.

Aly & Fila feat. Jaren - For All Time (Original Mix)
Even though it still feels like the year has just begun, we're obviously now half-way through the year. Judging by the comments on this video, this could do fairly well in the ASOT end-of-year poll. I mean, Jaren's voice just has such a great warmth to it that's perfect for any trance song!
