-Relaxation in qualifying service to appear the MTS/Postman for the 2024 vacancy year
• Circles were advised to include the 2022 unfilled vacancies and fill as per the RR prevailing in 2023
• The unfilled vacancies excluding the vacancies sub judice shall be added to the vacancies of 2024 as per the rules prevailing in 2024.
• In case of non-filling after the 2024 process, it is to be reported to staff selection commission for recommending candidates by open recruitment.
• Relaxed one year service in the eligibility condition for appearing the Postman, MTS for the 2024 vacancy year. Accordingly, the following is the eligibility condition.
• MTS with two years of service as on crucial date 1.1.2024 for Postman/Mail Guard.
• GDS with 4 years as on 1.1.2024 for Postman/MG exam
• GDS with 2 years of service as on 1.1.2024 for MTS exam.
