A lot can change in about five years time. I should know all about that, but the New York Islanders do as well. In this time frame, they went from a team lacking a core identity, suffering through decades of terrible management, and the only point of pride in the last 20 years was due to a missed tripping call.

Today? They are back. Nearly everything has changed, and it's due to a concerted effort of all branches of the team: On-ice, coaching, management, and ownership. How is this possible? This video will try to explain their revival. Maybe other teams that are struggling can take notes.
