In this tutorial, you are going to learn how to paint a Vintage Illustration. The painting is done mostly in Photoshop but I also do some of the work on the iPad in Procreate. Specifically the lineart.
The thing that excites me the most about this tutorial is the new workflow that I'm gonna show you. We are gonna make most of the shading of the character in greyscale and then we are gonna bring in the colors. This is a workflow that I used years ago for some more painterly illustrations and I hadn't used it since, so this is the first time that I'm sharing it here in Youtube. I think that you will love it and hopefully, you'll start applying it to your own illustrations.
