Snub Pollard (skinny) and Marvin Loback (fat); an overdue rent bill; 04:56 Snub reclines, Marvin sits on a Murphy bed, stands up, and the bed folds into a closet, and he sits, misses, then hits the floor; Snub rolls out of the bed; the landlady knocks on the door; 05:30 Marvin gets into a trunk, and Snub lowers him to the street using a rope; he lands outside in front of a luggage shop; Snub talks with the landlady, 06:08 runs outside and hits a pedestrian as a policeman watches; 06:15 Snub finds the trunk with Marvin inside and tries to move it, and the shop owner tells him the trunk costs $10; a customer buys a suitcase and gives Snub $10, which ends up paying for the trunk, and he struggles with it. 07:21 it's put on the back of a truck, and the rope falls and wraps around his ankle; he's dragged back and forth through a flooded street / 07:55 the men are reunited; but Snub is still is attached to the trunk with the rope; 08:25 Marvin gets bumped by a car, and the fender falls off; he gets kicked in the rear; 08:45: a race car drives forward, headed to Snub standing in the street; he blocks a truck and lands on a women's roadster; he steps off the bumper and falls down a manhole, and Marvin hauls him out.
