Nigeria has witnessed many reality TV shows in the past decade with most keeping viewers glued to our TV screens. The reality shows keep viewers on their feet and have many arguing for months over their favourite characters. Just Months after the famous BBNaija ended, a brand new show is the lastest entertainment everyone is talking about. This time, the subject of the show isn’t really about fame, money or one fictitious mystical relic long lost in the Jungle. It’s about love. The show is named ULTIMATE LOVE and here is all you need to know about it
Ultimate Love, Set to entail Naija’s most enchanting love story yet. You probably have questions like who are the brains behind the show, who are the housemates? How do they determine the winner? When is it ending? And more and more question — right?.
Well! As the name suggests, Ultimate Love Nigeria is a thrilling, new Reality Show from Africa Magic spotlighting 16 singles as they search for true love. The show is the latest from Multichoice, organizers of Big Brother Naija. It is expected to become Nigeria’s most EPIC love story on TV.
On Ultimate Love, two love birds are expected to emerge as the ‘Ultimate couple’ to win a lavish all-expenses-paid wedding and a fully furnished dream house after being married for one year. The winning couple will also get a N5M cash prize and rewards for the housemates will be revealed as the show progresses.
The show kicked off on Sunday, February 9, 2020. It is expected to last for 60 days and end in the first week of April.
The contestants in Ultimate love are called ‘’Love Guests’’. The house where they have been hosted is referred to as the love pad. Not much has been revealed regarding activities and tasks that will keep the love guests busy this season but for now, they are all engaged in getting to know themselves better and some of them have already been getting along pretty well while some are getting dramatic.
Another exciting thing about the show is that just as Big Brother Naija has the invisible Biggy to coordinate the housemates and call the rules, this show has an Aunty, Adesuwa Onyenokwe a veteran broadcaster. Aunty, in this case, is more of a counsellor or a relationship coach who will be guiding them through the path of finding true love. She will also be giving them weekly tasks, and this suggests to us that she the Biggy of Ultimate Love, only that we wouldn’t hear the phrase, ‘’This is Big Aunty’’ in this show.
Unlike BBN that had on a host, Ebuka, Ultimate love has two hosts, actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande and media personality, Oluwaseun P.
Also, there won’t be any black ninjas this time around carrying out instructions. Instead, the Love pad has butlers who will be at the disposal of the love guests to carry out their command.
