Cynic "Focus" Uroboric Forms Rhythm Track Clip

25 years ago today "Focus" was released. It is insanely crazy how much love and support this album has received over the years. It was an album that took a few listens to catch on since there was so much music crammed into each song. It was an expression as to where we were at, who we were, what we wanted to play at that time and we didn't care who approved of it or not. Most at that time did not approve. "it wasn't memorable enough, it was to technical, not catchy enough" we heard them all. I am blessed to say we never wavered, continued forward, and created Focus. This could not have been done without the incredibly talented, incredibly giving and just an absolute wonderful man, friend and engineer Scott Burns.
A huge thank you to all the listeners and supporters over the years. Feeling blessed, grateful and honored to express and inspire and to be remembered and celebrated by so many on this day. My facebook page and instagram have been on fire!!! I recently got my hands on a little bit of my lost studio footage from Morrisound Studios when we were recording the album. Here is a little clip to say Thank You to all who have supported Cynic over the past 25 years...
