Will McFarlane Talking About His Klon Centaur

This Klon Centaur has been owned for the last two plus decades by the legendary guitar player, singer-songwriter, musician, Will McFarlane. While he’s become one of the most in-demand session players of his generation, spending most of his time recording in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, he has also toured all over the world. He got his start in the early ’70s with Bonnie Raitt, and went on to make records for Etta James, Bobby Blue Bland, Little Milton, Johnny Taylor, and so many more.

This Klon has belonged to Will since the late ’90s and has been on his pedal board for more than 20 years. He’s toured the world and recorded hundreds of songs using it. A letter of authentication hand signed by Will and an accompanying picture of Will holding the pedal will be included with the purchase. He retired the pedal around a year ago even though it still functions perfectly and sounds just as amazing as you’d imagine a great Klon can sound. In his words, “these things are so valuable, I get nervous taking it out now.” He’s not one to let something sit on a shelf so I’m helping him find it a new home.
