Half a Million Sign Petition to Protect the Winter Fuel Payment

Campaigners will hand in a petition of half a million signatures to the treasury today calling for the government to protect the winter fuel payment. From next month the payment will be restricted to those on certain benefits.

Despite living on a low income, Rob and Jennie are just a few pounds above the threshold to claim the Winter Fuel Payment this winter.
