Ghatotkacha had 3 sons - Barbarika, Anjanaparvan and Meghavarna. Barbarika also known as Khatushyamji, Baliyadev and Shyam was a grandson of Bhima (second of the Pandava brothers), and the son of Ghatotkacha. Ghatotkacha was the son of Bhima and Hidimba. Even in his childhood, Barbarika was a very brave warrior. He learnt the art of warfare from his mother. The existence of Barbarika is debated as he is mentioned in the later additions to the Skanda Purana, and not in the official renditions of the Mahabharata. His mother name is Morvi.
