Hearing someone else’s honest story about loss can make others feel less alone which is why we’re proud to bring you a series of courageous conversations. This series explores the power of honest stories.

In this episode of Courageous Conversations, we speak with Sally and Imogen the hosts of popular grief podcast Good Mourning, about what led them to where they are now - grief leaders wielding both memes, jokes, and advice. “It’s almost like we’ve given death a rebrand” Imogen says. “Humour does get you through the dark times. Just because we’re talking about grief, doesn’t mean we can’t be funny along the way,” says Sally.

Sal and Im met in a support group, Motherless Daughters, after both losing their mums around the same time. They found a lot of the resources available to grieving people were dark, grim, and not very uplifting. They resolved to change that.
