Arknights 6-16

I couldn't have done it without Virtuosa practically melting Frostnova and all the Icecleavers with her necrosis, Degenbrecher tanking all those ice shots and providing frighten, Lessing being the main physical DPS against Frostnova, Viviana's excellent survivability, and Whisperain's status resistance. I wish I was good enough to figure out a strategy without so many 6-stars, but it is my first time clearing this stage and I'm proud of it regardless.

The main challenge for this stage was figuring out how to hold the middle lane while DPSing Frostnova. I initially had Virtuosa on the left to target Frostnova as she came out of the first tunnel, but this had the fatal flaw of exposing all my DPSers to the slug explosions. By having Virtuosa in the center, I'm able to reach both Frostnova in the top right and deal necrosis to the Icecleavers as they pass through the middle lane. Still, Frostnova's explosion skill, combined with the ice slugs and originium ice crystals meant my defender in the middle lane was getting frozen a lot. This made the Icecleavers even more dangerous than Frostnova. I had to bring Bassline, Gummy, necrosis, and Sussuro's burst healing just to survive them.

There was also the need to shift operators around. In the bottom lane, Viviana had been practically soloing the lane, with Texas helping with blocking and stun. Thus, as soon as Frostnova disappears into the first tunnel, we need to retreat the melee DPSers and Whisperain and redeploy Whisperain to heal the bottom lane. I almost messed this up as Viviana was hanging on with just 1 HP before Whisperain could be redeployed. With that, the bottom lane is secured.

After stalling Frostnova a bit in the top left, she enters the second tunnel. At this point, there are no more slugs, so it's safe to put the Bassline in the center of the lane, where he can avoid the originium ice crystal blasts. At this point, the middle lane Icecleavers shouldn't be much of an issue anymore.
