Zapraszamy na drugie spotkanie w ramach CLIMATE POSITIVE AGENDA 2021.
Spotkanie 24 marca 2021 r. poświęcone będzie tematyce Europejskiego Zielonego Ładu. Gościem specjalnym wydarzenia będzie Wiceprzewodniczący Komisji Europejskiej Frans Timmermans.
Wraz z Michałem Kurtyką, Ministrem Klimatu i Środowiska, Jerzym Kwiecińskim, byłym Ministrem Finansów, Inwestycji i Rozwoju, Kamilem Wyszkowskim, Przewodniczącym i Prezesem Rady UNGC Network Poland, oraz przedstawicielami firm członkowskich UNGC porozmawiamy o energetyce, zielonych finansach, innowacjach i technologiach oraz rozwiązaniach dla miast.
„Climate Positive – Agenda 2021” to inicjatywa UNGC Network Poland na rzecz klimatu realizowana we współpracy z przedstawicielami wysokiego szczebla instytucji publicznych oraz firmami członkowskimi UNGC.
Celem zaplanowanego w ramach Climate Positive cyklu debat jest aktywne zaangażowanie instytucji państwowych oraz liderów biznesu w implementację krajowych programów ochrony środowiska i adaptacji do zmian klimatu, aby w ten sposób wspierać realizację strategii „Zielonej Odbudowy” w ramach polityki Europejskiego Zielonego Ładu oraz Deklaracji Solidarnej i Sprawiedliwej Transformacji.
Kryzysy gospodarcze i kryzys klimatyczny wymagają od nas innowacyjnego podejścia i ambitnych rozwiązań. To właśnie biznes może być dostarczycielem inicjatyw w zarządzaniu wyzwaniami środowiskowymi i ekonomicznymi. Punktem odniesienia dla naszych działań jest m.in. deklaracja Business Ambition for 1,5o C i koalicja w ramach inicjatywy Science Based Targets.
Chcemy, aby rozmowy i pogłębione analizy na temat ekonomicznych i klimatycznych wyzwań, które stoją przed firmami każdej gałęzi gospodarki, doprowadziły do wypracowania konkretnych rozwiązań systemowych, a uczestnicy zaangażowali się w implementację krajowych programów ochrony środowiska i adaptacji do zmian klimatu.

We cordially invite you to the second meeting of Climate Positive AGENDA 2021.
The meeting on March 24, 2021, will be devoted to the policy of the New Green Deal. The special guest of the event will be the Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans.
Together with Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate and Environment, Jerzy Kwieciński, former Minister of Finance, Investments and Development, Kamil Wyszkowski, Representative and President of the Board of UNGC Network Poland, and representatives of UNGC member companies, we will discuss energy, green finance, innovations, and technologies as well as solutions for cities.
"Climate Positive - Agenda 2021" is an initiative of the UNGC Network Poland for the climate implemented in cooperation with high-level representatives of public institutions and member companies of UNGC.
The aim of the Climate Positive debates is to actively involve state institutions and business leaders in the implementation of national environmental protection schemes and climate change adaptation programmes. In that manner, we strive to support the implementation of the "Green Recovery" strategy within the framework of the European Green Deal policy and the Declaration on a Fair and Just Transition.
Economic and climate crises require an innovative approach and ambitious solutions. It is a business that has the potential of delivering significant initiatives in the management of those challenges. Our reference points for our actions include the Business Ambition for 1.5 C declaration and the coalition under the Science Based Targets initiative.
We intend to ensure that discussions, accompanied by in-depth analyses of the economic and climate challenges facing companies in every sector of the economy, will lead to the development of concrete systemic solutions, and that participants become involved in the implementation of national programmes for environmental protection and climate change adaptation.
At UN Global Compact Network Poland, we support and promote pro-climate and pro-development activities, through dialogue with public administration, presenting good practices, and sharing experiences.
