Programming CV's on DCC

Описание к видео Programming CV's on DCC

UPDATE : after programming a CV the power does NOT need to be cycled.

Hey guys, this video is to help all of you out there who need a little help with programming on DCC systems. In this video i go over changing a CV digit to change the functioning of a dcc decoder and the locomotive that is equipped with the dcc decoder. I use the digitrax Zephyr DCS50 command station with no other accessories other than the power pack it came with. In the video I make it easy to understand how to change the CV using the dcc system. If you have another dcc system such as NCE then I do not know exactly how to help you. In the video I use an ho scale broadway limited blue line steam 2-8-2 mikado with a digitrax decoder along with the already equipped sound system. If you have any questions for me, and you HAVE the digitrax system, please drop me a link and i will see what i can do. If you have the information on what CV changes what function, i will try to help. If you do not have the zephyr i may not be able to help you, but i will try. The buttons i used are the PROG button, to select the operations, or ops mode of programming on the main track. The other buttons are the switch/ CV button, the CV-RD, and the CV-WR, these buttons read and/or write the cv values into the decoder and then show you what the current value is.

Thanks for watching and please email me with any questions, i am still learning this so i cannot guarentee much help.

remember, if something goes wrong, reset the value of CV8, to a value of 8, it will restore ALL Settings to the way they were from the factory, and you can try again.

CV 29 and Address calculator can be found at http://www.2mm.org.uk/articles/cv29%2... ( I did not write this program)
