At the same time we’re seeing protesters gather and march against racism and injustice in the U.S., Hong Kongers are taking to the streets in increasing numbers to fight for democracy. In a conversation with Ian Bremmer for GZERO World, pro-democracy lawmaker Dennis Kwok explains that while Hong Kong has successfully controlled the COVID-19 outbreak, the situation now is uncertain. And if a rise of infections should occur as a result of the mass gatherings, Kwok says “there are other ways to show dissent. The Hong Kong people will not give up.”
