Huge Deep Sea Shrimp “Crawls” Along the Seafloor | Nautilus Live

Описание к видео Huge Deep Sea Shrimp “Crawls” Along the Seafloor | Nautilus Live

This might be the largest deep-sea shrimp our Corps of Exploration has ever seen! Spotted during our NA153 expedition while diving on the Central Sculpin Ridge Seamount, about 135 nm ENE of Johnston Atoll, this Aristeid shrimp measures around 13cm long, dwarfing the fish spotted nearby. While usually spotted swimming, this one appeared to be crawling along the seafloor.
