Gesture Carrier is evolving from an audio-driven modulation system into a temporal instrument one where sound is not only material, but segmentation, gesture and control.

This new version integrates a FluCoMa-based slicer, adapted specifically for Gesture Carrier.
Instead of simply cutting at transients, it listens to the envelope, micro-dynamics and behaviour of the source signal, isolating meaningful gestures which are then turned into control structures.

Each slice becomes a micro-event: a unit of time that can be recalled, reshaped or converted into a wavetable envelope, extending the pipeline into a recursive logic — listening → segmentation → control.

Here FluCoMa is not used as a traditional editing tool, but as a form of analytic attention.
Slicing is treated as a perceptual act: a way of reading the internal motion of sound, so that Gesture Carrier can modulate itself through its own history.

This process anticipates the upcoming integration with Envion, where the sliced gestures will drive modules like Dynagran and Net-Audio, forming a self-listening ecosystem in which sound and control continuously fold back into one another.
