Test Drive: 1972 BMW 2002 SOLD at the Sun Valley Auto Club

Excellent first classic car. Sporty BMW driving characteristics with plenty of room providing for great utility. Deep maroon exterior, on original tan interior. The 2 liter carbureted engine may sound quiet but it has plenty of spunk. Nice shifting 4 speed manual transmission and road hugging rear wheel drive. The exterior is in good condition with an older paint job. There are a few cracks appearing in certain spots but over all complete and well executed. There is no visible rust around the front struts - a common rust area. Upon looking closely at engine bay you can tell that the metal is in great shape under the paint. Same would be said for the trunk. The interior shows minimal signs of wear, a nod to its originality. Safe to say the seats are broken instead of worn out. The dash is un-cracked and all the switches function. The lights, brights, wipers, and blinkers won't let you down. This is one fun car to drive. Be sure to watch our test drive video.
