// Waterproof Poncho
__ It rains A LOT in Iceland. Having something that would fit in our pocket to quickly put on then it rained would have been very helpful. This will also have kept our backpack dry and not blown away in the wind.

__ We went to a number of hot springs during our road trip. Having a small floating case to keep our wallet and phone in would have been great. You can keep your valuables nearby and grab a few photos without having to hold your phone over the water your entire swim.

__ **Only if you're travelling to Iceland in the Summer!** It's very bright when you're trying to sleep. When we travel Iceland in the Summer this is a must-have item!

__ Food is expensive in Iceland. If you travel like us, everything you need fits in your carryon. We recommend packing a box of Soylent, or another light food, in a box as your check-in luggage to Iceland. Then you have no check-in luggage on the way home. Just make sure all the food you pack is allowed to be brought into the country! We're usually able to bring 50% of the food we'll need for the trip in this way.
