This is a kind of rough demo of a tune I wrote as an homage to Jr Walker. He was a great saxophonist in in my opinion one of the last great innovators. He had a incredibly strong rhythmic sense. I'm gong to be recording this next week with a live rhythm section. I'll post some pictures and video from the session.
I was trying to capture his exuberance and I also threw in some multi-phonics like Joe Henderson
